     Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Pharmacy is a traditional classical architectural ensemble. Here, visitors will visit the chalets, intricate carvings, documents, artifacts, hundreds of precious herbs of the traditional medicine profession through the ages.

    Where is the Traditional Medicine Museum in Vietnam?

    Located at 26 Bis / 1 Pho Trung, Vinh Phu Ward, Thuan An Town, Binh Duong Province, the Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Pharmacy  is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Can easily plan tours of the Fito Pharma museum and factory.

    Journey to discover the traditional Vietnamese pharmaceutical museum

    1st floor: 

    Located right at the main entrance of the museum is the reception room. There is a "Map of the Museum and the factory visit route" for visitors to refer to. At the same time, this area is also a stop for visitors before and after the tour.

    On the 1st floor of the museum you will be able to visit the Opium Room (room 12). It displays some of the most common prescriptions in Oriental medicine, which are also known as live drugs). In addition, this room also has templates of more than 300 commonly used pharmaceuticals in Vietnam.

    Located next to the drug room is the preparation tools room (Room 11). This is where traditional medicine preparation tools are arranged. Here, visitors can cut, pound, grind, grind, crush, and spread drugs by themselves with traditional tools. For example, mortar pestle, circuit breaker, grinding table, canopy boat.

    After the tour and smoking experience, guests can visit the room for traditional medicine remedies (Room 6). It displays 48 precious remedies of the famous physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac. In addition, in this large room there is also a display of 24 decoction cabinets, potions, lime pots, wine bottles dating from BC to the early twentieth century. 

    Continuing the journey to discover the Vietnam Traditional Pharmacy Museum, visitors will be able to visit the Drugstore Room (Room 7). The room is beautifully arranged, the bottles of ancient wine and bottles of oriental medicine are extremely loved by visitors.

    Next to the pharmacy is a gallery of artifacts and documents related to the history of traditional pharmacy in Vietnam. There are also many works by famous Vietnamese physicians here. 

    In room 10 of the museum, which is also the place where traditional medicine is prepared, visitors will experience how to make medicine using traditional wooden molds, extremely interesting.

    Also at the space of the first floor, visitors can visit the pharmaceutical factory Fitô Pharma (room 15). Here, tourists can admire the live production workshops (This tour is only for groups of 10 or more and must be booked in advance. 

    In addition to functional rooms, 1st floor is also arranged a place to display oriental medicine products manufactured by Fito pharma factory (Room 13: Fito pharmacy). There is also a free consultation area for visitors to take care of. 

    Next to Fito Pharmacy is a place to introduce the parts and production lines of the pharmaceutical factory of Fitô Pharma (room 14).

    Visiting the Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Pharmacy (Binh Duong branch), visitors can not only visit, learn, take pictures, but also can shop and experience the cuisine here.

    Right at the first floor, there is a Museum Shop (room 16) and a restaurant (room 17). At the Museum Shop, there are herbal teas, traditional medicine, medicinal alcohol and various types of dialysis, visitors can freely buy as gifts. At the museum's in-house restaurant, which also serves delicious and famous Binh Duong specialties, guests can experience the cuisine here.

    2nd floor

    Most of the 2nd floor space is to display the, artifacts and historical documents of traditional medicine in Korea, Japan and China (room 9). There are also many works and documents from the three countries. 

    Next to room 9 is Thai Y Vien (Room 4) and Model of Traditional Pharmacy (Room 5). The Thai hospital has a beautiful architecture, decorated with the most splendid gold in the museum. It displays many documents as well as exhibits related to Thai Y Vien - a place to care for the royal family in feudalism in Vietnam.

    In contrast to the splendid Thai Y Vien is the typical pharmacy model room. The simple and rustic design room is used to arrange herbs of the Kinh and ethnic minorities. 

    Floor 3:

    The space on the 3rd floor is the world of medicinal plants that visitors are extremely excited about. This place displays about 600 paintings of medicinal plants, is the largest collection of hand-painted medicinal herbs in Vietnam. In addition, this room also has a cinema area with more than 100 seats. Visitors will be able to see short documentaries about the Vietnamese traditional medicine profession (with 4 languages ​​dubbed in Vietnamese, English, French and Russian according to the needs of the visitors).

    Along with a medicinal plant gallery is a gallery of documents, pictures and artifacts related to the traditional medicine profession (room 2). These documents have been passed down through the ages of Hung Kings, the Northern colonial period, Ly Tran, Hau Le, the Nguyen Dynasty to modern times.

    The last room located on the 3rd floor is the model of a traditional medicine pharmacy (room 3). The wooden house has a unique and rustic architecture with many sophisticated carved motifs. The model of the pharmacy has signs, circuit boards, medicine dispensers, drawers, and portraits of medicine's ancestors. Guests can freely visit and take pictures.
